Have people told you you're "not yourself" lately? Are you finding it hard to enjoy the things you used to love? Are you stressing about a recent or upcoming life/job/family change? Are you hoping to get some non-biased insight on your life from a professional? Wondering why your relationships just don't seem to be working out? No matter how big or small the issue may be, I am here to guide you through and help you develop the skills and tools necessary to tackle life's everyday challenges as well as unexpected changes.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)- I am trained to utilize this evidence-based therapy that helps client process traumatic and/or distressing memories and emotions. By stimulating the brain's natural healing process through rapid eye movements and other bilateral stimulation methods, I am able to help clients release unhelpful emotions and move towards stronger emotional resilience. EMDR is commonly used for the following issues: PTSD, anxiety, depression, and many more.
-I offer weekend intensive EMDR sessions for clients who are looking to make significant progress in shorter amounts of time. Intensives are particularly helpful for clients who are dealing with sudden trauma or have limited time to commit to ongoing therapy. *Note- this option is self-pay only.
